Emergency Response class to be held in the Palisades

TheSanPedroCoast.com is organizing a Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) class to be held in the Palisades neighborhood. The class would be one 2 1/2 hour class per week for seven weeks. There is no fee, just your time and commitment.

The CERT Program educates people about disaster preparedness for hazards that may impact our neighborhood and trains them in basic disaster response skills, such as fire safety, light search and rescue, team organization, and disaster medical operations. Living on a peninsula is a truly good reason to be prepared!

We need a minimum of 20 people to do the class and currently have six openings left. If you are interested, please email me and tell me if you have a preference for Monday, Tuesday, or Wednesday evenings.

Find out more about the class at http://www.cert-la.com/

  1. I would be interested in the CERT class on any of the night mentioned – Monday, Tuesday, or Wednesday. I might also be able to gather a few more interested parties.
