Things to do this weekend

There are a lot of fun things to do this weekend. As well as the events below, the Cabrillo Marine Aquarium also has a few things going on like their weekend Tidepool Walks. And don’t forget to think up some good April Fools jokes for Sunday!

Saturday, March 31
9:00–11:30am COPE Preparedness presents Map Your Neighborhood. Help your neighborhood survive a disaster. Organize your neighborhood into a 9-Step Emergency Preparedness Program. 9:00–1:00pm Team Leader Training Workshop at White Point Nature Preserve.

11:00 am Point Fermin Lighthouse Egg Hunt. Crafts and an old-fashioned egg hunt perfect for kids ages 4 to 12.  Lucky egg hunters may find a golden egg — good for a special gift.  All children must be accompanied by an adult.

2:30–5:00pm Good Food Workshop at Angels Gate. Learn the basics in making your own savory and sweet snacks, smoothies, salads, nut milks, granola and more. There will be tastings, interactive demos and discussions. $55 for more info and to RSVP,contact: Kajsa Sjodin: 562-704-9288.
